So now the TV is fully licensed. Once Licensed Then you can Connect it to the Region that you want to set it up for. Fb First Poster. Hi Gibraltarians i am local to did you manage to sort this out I am so frustrated x please help. Munkh First Poster. Linux First Poster. After doing the factory reset listed here all apps worked again after a year of messing with the Smarthub issue.

We also messed with blocking of cloudfront. I tried some self-diagnostics without success. I connected with a Samsung helpdesk rep via chat and he walked me through an hour of testing much of which I'd already done myself with no success. Before doing that I poked around the web until finding this thread. I've read the entire thing.

Ridiculous that Samsung has not provided a clear fix for this problem but has left it up to its users to devise solutions. In any case, I will try some of the solutions mentioned in this thread that I haven't tested yet and I'll let you know what does or doesn't work.

I go to the smart hub apps and sure enough all the logos are missing. However, I still cannot install anything new. Same error, "smart hub is being updated. You have two ways to resolve.

Go into your samsung smart TV settings and go to Support. Fill out a request to have them contact you. I had this issue and they got with me even on a Sunday afternoon.

Went into the Samsung Apps screen when you select the color cube icon on your remote it is the first in the list that is like a aqua color with no verbage. Select it. It will then display a list of all the applications independantly. Here you will have the ability to update manually each application.

Go through each and update. When its done. Go to the application you want to use. Re-enter your login if necessary. It should now allow you to access. After every power off, I have to reset the entire system. Repopulate my apps, sign in to everything.

I've noticed this problem started around the time a bunch of new apps show up in the smart hub under "my apps" these are preloaded ones that cannot be deleted.

The System Reset I believe does not go deep enough to the problem, as you can view the amount of stored memory and it never changes. Even though I have to re download HBO Now, you can see that upon doing so, it is still there in the memory cache as it readily pops up. Samsung service is horrendous, they have remoted in on the TV and claimed it has no issues, yet they can see it hanging and crashing while they are in the TV.

Why even build a smart hub if it is like this? I have iPhone 3's that still function flawlessly. I am having the same issue as of last night. Hi Jrob , I can only suggest what's basically been mentioned in this thread-I'm assuming you have the latest firmware which everyone should check I looked into this model which seems to be a US one and no firmware download appearing on site.

Therefore if resetting Smart Hub, reinstalling affected apps and factory reset do not make a difference you will need to contact support, consider remote support though realise problems have not been resolved for everyone. I have the same problem. Please try again later. The TV says my software is up to date and its connected to the internet. Go to menu, go to reset system, reset it, then after it comes back on, go to smarthub, re-sign in, redownload each app, sign into each app, then they will work until the next time you shut the TV off.

This is a Samsung problem, not the app developer, as I have been in contact with all of the apps that this happens to.
